FORKLIFT!!!


First of all, the game is by standards  incomplete. After months of inactivity and failed projects , we've finally found the push needed to go further and start on our path to making games again. Of course we still haven't "made" a game as Forklift is unfortunately just a prototype.  If at least someone takes interest with it, maybe we can make builds in the coming weeks and months. As a fan of simulation games, I would really love that (I don't know about the rest of the team though).

When the theme was announced, we're all confused how to make a game with that concept. Of course, first thing to come up are commonly about animals, packing of items, etc. So went with it. My idea was first a game where you control a robotic arm to packs things in a weapon's factory. You handle grenades, bullets, guns, and other explosives so the core of the game is you lose if you are uncareful of your actions. I'm glad we didn't went with that. We'd lose time and maybe we'll have another unfinished project like the months before. Thanks to Adam, we found the project I disliked at first but in the end I really loved. A forklift. 

So yeah we had 3 builds before this one. 30 minutes before deadline, being the one to finish the game, I scrambled to finish the game and post the build as quick s possible. I even had this error that prevented me to push our game files to the team. But at the end, thank God we managed to pull this one off.

Looking back, I realized that this was the push we needed to work again and join jams to improve our skills. We might be far from making games that sell but we're on the steps leading to it. I really want to thank Raze for his invitation as he was the one who aske if we want to join in. Thanks dude. And also to the team. I'm counting on us.
